About  Me

        My name is Paolo Carino and I am a Video Editor from Chicago. I currently major in computer science, and learn UI/UX in my own time at University of Illinois, Chicago.

        I started doing video in high school when I was first recruited by my cross country coach to film/edit the end of the year recap video. During that time I only had a point and click video camera and one or two flimsy vacation montages under my belt. I brought my camera everywhere and shot everything. Races, pasta parties, bus rides, until eventually I had too much to footage. I edited that video in one whole day and was scared to show my team the memories I had pieced together. But there was nothing to worry about they loved it.

        That one video I made single-handedly sparked my love for this craft. It was the first time I had brought joy to so many people through the simple act of creating. Fast forward 4 years and I have edited countless videos and montages all for the purpose of creating for others.
